Commercial Acting

Our Commercial Acting Program is designed for aspiring performers who want to develop the skills, confidence, and professional presence needed to succeed in the world of commercials, advertising, and on-camera performance.

Students will learn how to bring personality, authenticity, and energy to the camera while developing the practical skills needed for commercial auditions and professional sets. Through engaging, hands on training, students will explore commercial scripts, improvisation, character work, cold reads, audition techniques, and on-camera performance.

The program focuses on helping each student discover their unique screen presence and learn how to make strong, memorable choices in a short amount of time. Students will also gain an understanding of professional audition etiquette, self-tapes, taking direction, working with casting professionals, and the expectations of a commercial performer.

Whether your goal is to book your first commercial, build confidence in front of the camera, or take the next step toward a professional acting career, our Commercial Acting Program provides a supportive and creative environment where performers can develop their skills and shine on camera.

Class Schedule

Mondays (September to June)

Ages 7-13 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Ages 14-18 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

What Students Will Explore:

Students will develop:

• On-camera confidence and presence

• Commercial audition and self-taping skills

• Improvisation and comedic timing

• Script and copy interpretation

• Character development for commercial roles

• Cold reading techniques

• Ability to take direction and make quick adjustments

• Professional audition and set etiquette

• Authenticity, personality, and camera awareness

Perfect for: Beginner to intermediate performers who are interested in commercials, advertising, television, film, and building a professional on-camera skill set. Private Adult classes are available upon request.

Musical Theatre

At Studio E, our Musical Theatre program gives students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of performance through singing, acting, and dancing. Students will build confidence, creativity, and stage presence while learning how to bring characters and stories to life in a fun and supportive environment. Led by Miss Sofia, Miss Tessa, and Miss Gabi, our classes focus on developing performance skills, self-expression, teamwork, and the joy of being on stage.

Saturdays (September to June)

Ages 4–9: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Ages 9–14: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

What Students Will Explore:

Students will learn the foundations of Musical Theatre by combining acting, singing, and dance while developing their overall performance abilities and confidence.

Throughout the program, students will work on:

Acting techniques, character development, and storytelling

Facial expressions, stage presence, and showmanship

Dance movement and choreography for musical productions

Introduction to voice coaching and vocal performance

Group performance skills, collaboration, and confidence on stage

Preparing and rehearsing for Studio E’s Christmas Musical Production of 

The Polar Express

Students will be immersed in the creative process as they learn their roles, develop characters, interpret music and scenes, and prepare for a full-scale stage performance. Our Christmas production of The Polar Express will be a highlight of the season, allowing students to showcase their hard work and growth.

During The Polar Express performance, we will also proudly announce our next January–June Musical Theatre production, giving students an exciting new opportunity to continue their journey on stage!

Our students are encouraged to be creative and involved in the process of bringing performances to life — from developing characters and interpreting lyrics to creating memorable moments on stage alongside their instructors.
